PROFESSION: I work in the textile industry.

PROFILE PICTURE:

MY DAILY LIFE: My day a day is not that amazing. I work almost all week exhausting hours in making clothes for people and the money I earn isn't proportional to the work I do. I think my life could be better.

POLITICAL CONTEXT: The context in which I live is authoritarian. I don't agree on it because people like us aren't taken into account. We are also treated not in a proper way, we work a lot and we aren't paid that much.

ECONOMIC CONTEXT: As I can see, Mexico is developing, talking about implementing railroads, etc. Unfortunately that works better for the minority rather than us. Obviously I don't agree with this system because it doesn't benefit me as much as it does for people from a higher social class.

SOCIAL CONTEXT: The social context in which I live protects individual rights for the minority of the people. I really disagree on this one because workers are forced to works long shifts or extra time without being paid more. Basically our rights are not acknowledged.

PREDICTION FOR THE FUTURE: I think the future of our country would be negative, since the majority are lower class and that's were the main problems are focused on. If Mexico keeps this systems, I think there would not be progress. I also believe that Mexico is being affected economically because it is being based on foreign companies, instead of local.

CHANGE or CONTINUITY: I personally want changes in all the systems, so that things can be different for workers. I think I would be more Liberal since I want to have different systems as well as for my rights to be acknowledge, be taken into account and be equality.

MOST PREFERRED LEADER: I support and agree the most with Emiliano Zapata. I support him because he wants to help us (workers) by distributing more equitably the land. I also think that he could help us change Mexico since the majority ( the people that are suffering ) supports him, and that could lead us to a Revolution.

SECOND CHOICE LEADER: My second choice leader would be Francisco I. Madero. I support some of his ideals. I agree with him because he wants to protect individual rights and defend workers' labor guarantees, which would benefit me. But I don't agree 100% with his form of government.

LEAST PREFERRED LEADER: I definitely oppose with Porfirio Diaz's ideas. I basically disagree that all the economic benefits are for the elite and that he has a more conservative form of government.

MEXICAN ELITES: NAME : Alejandro García Márquez I agree with him that elites are more protected than the low class and that everyone should have the same protection.
